Center for the Arts is a 35,000 SF building home to performance venues, gallery space and classrooms. Another great project for a great customer. We transform and old surface parking lot to truly state of the art building and parking garage. We had the challenge of an operational campus, and work closely with the owner to provide a safe working condition while having students occupying the campus and given access to parents safely drop off their kids and attend activities. Many of the utilities and road improvements were done at night with minimal disruption to school activities. We also coordinated closely with Miami Dade Water and Sewer and the Florida Department of Transportation to perform all the activities on the right of way at night with special scheduled inspections and supervision.

 

At the end we were able to finish our scope of work on time and within the school budget.
